DreamEcho Patch Notes Roundup (0.1.0)
Player-facing summary of HotWaterStudio’s post-launch hotfixes so builds and Memories stay honest.
HotWaterStudio shipped DreamEcho on August 10, 2026, then followed with a rapid 0.1.0a–0.1.0h hotfix chain. This roundup translates official Steam community notes into practical wiki guidance. Always verify the latest post on the Steam news hub or community news feed before assuming a number still matches live clients.

How to use this page
Treat each section as a delta checklist, not a full changelog reprint. After you read a patch bullet that touches your kit, re-open the matching guide—Concepts, Memories, Home base, Summon build, or Build checklist—and re-test in a short dream.
0.1.0a — day-zero stability
Early launch fixes targeted save-list clutter (bad saves lingering in the UI), controller flow on the Damage Statistics continue prompt, controller skill selection after complex talent replacement, and unexpected stutter. If your first night felt sticky on pad, update before blaming binds in DreamEcho controls.
0.1.0b — minion math and QoL
Minion damage bonuses were double-counted (damage far above intent). HotWaterStudio removed the minion level cap so companions can climb toward level 200. A resurrection-screen safeguard stops an accidental Give Up click from applying at the exact death moment. Ultrawide launch quirks and trade-page tooltip hints also received attention. Summon players should re-baseline expectations on Summon build after this patch.
0.1.0c — shards, Energy wording, Affix Wiki, anti-cheat false positives
Shard trading edge cases, Energy mislabeled as Mana in some strings, Affix Wiki T-level display errors, and false cheat flags that blocked score uploads were addressed. If an Abyss or leaderboard upload failed mysteriously on day one, retry after updating before assuming a ban.
0.1.0d — named Memory and minion fixes
Notable named-effect corrections include Parting Wind, orange Panacea affix count (should be two, not four), Blood Blade bleeding interactions, point-blank Specter hits, and conflicting charge min/max logic. Difficulty 7 messaging now properly points players toward obtaining and defeating Primal Frenzy. Some Memory passives failed to show in ability slots—another reason to double-check Home loadouts (Home base).
0.1.0e — Abyss leaderboard and stability
Abyss Leaderboard scoring was rebuilt around difficulty multiplier, rooms cleared, and clear time only (new scores trend slightly higher). Tricolor Heart synergies with Elemental Hit-style mechanics, multilingual display glitches, and freeze/crash paths were patched. Competitive dreamers should treat pre-0.1.0e scores as historical.
0.1.0f — damage caps and conversion
A 1000% damage cap landed on Shattered Star after community feedback. Attribute conversion no longer multiplies incorrectly. Attack Power / skill power display is clearer (still imperfect). Collapsed Faith HP over-gain was fixed. Theory-crafters chasing conversion loops should re-validate numbers in-game instead of old screenshots.
0.1.0g — Memories, potions, Deck video, balance
Corruption of Memories could rarely grant two identical affixes—fixed. Minion collision no longer shoves the player away. Pure Heart roll ranges, Steam Deck tutorial video visibility for Echoes of Dreams content, leaderboard tag rules for Blessing, Mental Bandage / Panacea potion interactions, and decimal spam on potion duration displays were cleaned up. Late-game enemy damage dropped again; All Elemental Enhancement was tuned down relative to single-element paths. Text fixes landed for Holy Sword and Resolve Charge. Log cleanup may slightly help performance (System requirements).
0.1.0h — regeneration, Memory Shop, Deck regression, skills
Life regeneration per second now evaluates per frame. Memory Shop → Salvage Memories no longer recycles equipped or favorited Memories—critical for Home hygiene (Home base). A tutorial-video playback regression (from an earlier Deck-related fix) was addressed; the Steam Deck video “fix” itself was reverted because it caused a worse bug. Collector timer text, server-load edge cases from certain playstyles, Penance self-damage double-dipping, Bloodforged Magic wording (life cost, not damage), minion crit/cold/res gear application, salvage rounding displays, late-game monster damage (reduced again), projectile misses from inside collision volumes, skill UI freezes beyond eight skill backpacks, elemental-res tier display on Memories, and minion interactions with Multiple Projectiles / Projectile Pierce penalties were patched. LonelySnow also flagged long load times when large save libraries are read at boot—planned for a future update, not fixed in 0.1.0h.
What this means for wiki readers
- Summon / minion kits changed twice—re-test damage and collision feel.
- Memory Shop salvage is safer once favorites/equipped flags are set.
- Abyss scores before 0.1.0e are not apples-to-apples.
- Steam Deck video tutorials remain a known soft spot—watch official Steam trailers on another device if needed (DreamEcho review embeds the launch trailer).
- Conversion and Shattered Star players must respect the new caps.

On Steam news and the Steam community news feed for app 3226060. This wiki summarizes player impact only.
Did minion damage change after launch?
Yes. 0.1.0b removed double-counted minion damage bonuses and later patches kept tuning minion collision and projectile penalties.
Is Memory Shop salvage safe now?
As of 0.1.0h, salvage should skip equipped and favorited Memories. Still double-check favorites before bulk salvage.
